Preventing Head Injuries in Kids Sports on Viewpoints TV

Preventing any injury in youth sports is always a top priority. Preventing a head injury, like a concussion, is on the front burner as national news programs, athletes and sports celebrities bring the issue to the world’s attention. A recent news magazine show spotlighted the seriousness of concussions in teen soccer and how some young girls are suffering the debilitating effects of taking too many “headers”. Former NFL players have banded together and filed a concussion related lawsuit against the league. A world-famous sports celebrity went on a lat night talk show and stated that he knew of at least six concussions he’s had because they knocked him out. The Viewpoints with Terry Bradshaw television program offers kids, sports and concussions for the audience.

Show host Terry Bradshaw, a 14 year veteran with the NFL, played professional football for the Pittsburgh Steelers. As their dominant quarterback, he helped lead the team to four Super Bowl victories and had his share of violent sacks. His on the field skill and talent led to a Hall of Fame induction. Bradshaw retired in 1984 and has worked in sports broadcasting for more than 20 years. He is a spokesperson for Nutrisystem and an outspoken advocate for concussion awareness.

The Viewpoints Terry Bradshaw television show dives into topics that are meaningful in the lives of the audience. It films on location in the US and Canada and airs regionally and nationally on business oriented cable networks. More information is available at viewtb.com.
